The National Petroleum Agency of Sao Tome and Principe (ANP-STP) was created by law No.5 of June 2004. This is a public institution responsible for the management and implementation of government policies in all areas related to hydrocarbons. In addition, it tracks and regulates all economic activities related to the oil industry.

The ANP-STP operates administrative and financial autonomy with policy guidance from the governing bodies of the country, and in accordance with the laws in force.

The ANP-STP hopes that this communication tool will provide to all those interested an oportunity to follow the activities of the Agency and the oil industry in STP overall.
